The Società of Studi Romagnoli, with the support of Municipalities of Montegridolfo and Sogliano al Rubicone, organizes the LXXII Conference of Romagnoli Studies which will take place physically in Montegridolfo on 23-24 October 2021 and in Sogliano al Rubicone on 30-31 October 2021.
The days in Montegridolfo start on Saturday 23 October 2021, 9.30 am, at Palazzo Viviani (Montegridolfo) with the greetings of Alessia Morigi (President of the Società di Studi Romagnoli) and Lorenzo Grilli (Mayor of Montegridolfo); it will continue on Saturday 23 October 2021, 3 pm, at Church of San Rocco, Sunday 24 October 2021, 9.30 am, at the Museo della Linea dei Goti and Sunday 24 October 2021, 3 pm, at Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin (Trebbio).
The days dedicated to Sogliano al Rubicone will start on Saturday 30 October 2021, 9.30 am, at “Pro Loco” room of Sogliano with the greetings of Alessia Morigi (President of the Romagnoli Studies Society) and Tania Bocchini (Mayor of Sogliano al Rubicone) and they will continue in the same venue also in the sessions on Saturday afternoon and Sunday.
The works will see 61 speakers involved representing the research topics and realities engaged in the area; the papers spread over 8 sessions and variously dedicated to archaeological, artistic, literary, geomorphological, historical, archival, architectural, museum, restoration, urban and territorial planning, management and protection of cultural heritage, with the aim of a diachronic point of view based on multidisciplinary approach to research to suggest an hight performed contribution to the development of the territory.
By the initiative of Poste Italiane the occasion of the LXXII Romagnoli Studies Conference, and the restoration of the fifteenth-century fresco of San Rocco, a special stamp obliteration will take place on Saturday 23 October.
The Conference, organized under the patronage of the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Enterprises of the University of Parma, in collaboration with S.F.E.R.A. (Spaces and Forms of Ancient Emilia Romagna) program, is part of the well-established collaboration between the University of Parma and the Society of Romagnoli Studies.
As usual, the volume of the Proceedings of the LXXI Conference 2020 in Galeata and S. Sofia will be available on the days of the conference, largely dedicated to the archaeological mission of the University of Parma to the villa of Theodoric in Galeata.
